Liberal MPs have an obligation to do their due diligence, especially when something is unclear, to ensure they're not misinforming Canadians

If he did check, or knew it was Kinsella, then a capital-L Liberal, & still attributed it to 'the Sun,' that's obviously much worse.

Apparently the author is Warren Kinsella, who was a dedicated Liberal then. This isn't as surprising as Mark Gerretsen 🇨🇦 🇺🇦 suggests. In fact, it's misleading - the Sun (ie the editorial board) didn't say it, their Liberal columnist did. It should probably be taken down, IMO. #cdnpoli

I simply noted that in a democracy, it's not illegal for him to promise it, or some voters to want it.
