Today we welcomed Illya, a Guide Dog in training onto the yard. She lives locally & has found our rather large horses a little bit scary so she came down today to meet them & be more comfortable in their presence. Prestbury & Berkeley were happy to help along with yard dog Wilf!

PH Berkeley is having a well deserved early night and bedtime snack after he had a busy shift in Hesters Way with PH Prestbury where they identified a vehicle for driving in an unsafe manner past them and then helped locate it. The motor vehicle turned out to be stolen

PHs Fairford & Huntley were in Cheltenham for night time economy duties last night & assisted in dealing with a vehicle that was being driven in an erratic manner. Officers from specialist operations stopped the vehicle & the driver was arrested on suspicion of drink driving

Meanwhile Prince and Bruce took time out for some brotherly love on the yard

Last night Prestbury and Huntley were out in Gloucester on night time economy patrols. They dealt with two incidents of traffic offences as well as searching for a missing person

We've been out conducting Op Close Pass today in the Coombe Hill area after reports from local riders of difficulty with drivers passing too fast & close. We worked with our Rural Crime Team - Gloucestershire Constabulary colleagues & spoke to several drivers about their manner of driving

It was thirsty work for PH Fairford and Prestbury this afternoon. They conducted reassurance patrols in the Barton and Tredworth area then helped search for a missing boy.

TPH Berkeley took a trip into Gloucester today and helped deal with a dog incident as well as a concern for welfare for a vulnerable person alongside some priority patrols

Friday & Saturday night, PH Fairford did his first night time economy shifts. He took to it like a pro, attending a suspicious incident, searching for offenders as well as patrolling targeted areas & being in the right place at the right time to gather some vital intel

Take a ride on TPH Berkeley today as we patrolled the woods near to Wotton-Under-Edge where there have been reports of anti-social behaviour to our Rural Crime Team - Gloucestershire Constabulary team. Fortunately on this occasion we just met some friendly dog walkers & saw beautiful bluebells!
