I'm a broken record at this point but it remains wild to me that while other 80s horror franchises haven't really known what to do with themselves in many years, Chucky is consistently proving that he's the most interesting, endlessly malleable icon to come out of that decade.

The Season 3 finale once again does what this show does best: provides a satisfying conclusion to the season's main story, peeks into all kinds of exciting new doors, and services the hell out of longtime fans. When it's this fresh & this fun, I don't want it to ever end.

The Pope's Exorcist is a fascinating success story. An unassuming, unremarkable horror movie that not only became a box office success but also a largely ironic internet meme born from Russell Crowe being a wacky, Vespa-riding demon slayer. You can't help but love to see it.

This would be the trailer for A24’s 80’s slasher if it actually came out in 1985. Take it from someone who was there πŸ˜‰

The paperback version of Don Coscarelli's PHICTION is out today and I cannot recommend it enough. Six new stories that expand upon Phantasm characters in ways that'll change how you watch the movies. It's like reading a new Phantasm anthology series, straight from the creator.

INFESTED (Shudder): Spiders, some as big as puppies, overrun a French apartment building. Scary, gross, well made. (French, with English subtitles)

to be clear: there is exactly *ZERO* AI used on hellboy: the crooked man. both characters - hellboy and the crooked man - were created and shot 100% gloriously practical, as the movie gods intended, with no cgi enhancement... and look AMAZING.

The new redesign is a legitimate problem. They've hidden critics from view and made it seem like the RT score is somehow magically their own.

Rotten Tomatoes wouldn't exist without critics, but this redesign kinda suggests they're trying to devalue and replace us.

It's wild how horror-heavy Funko Fusion looks to be. John Carpenter's The Thing absolutely dominates this trailer, and other confirmed horror properties include Jaws, The Mummy (1999), Nope, M3GAN, Shaun of the Dead, Chucky, Walking Dead & Five Nights at Freddy's!

Abigail, the third (and best) attempt at a new Universal Monsters vampire movie, just hit $28.5 million at the box office, officially outgrossing both Renfield ($26.4 million) & Demeter ($21.7 million). That's good news, but it's surprising that the cap is so low for these films.
