Almost finished 2 of 12 bird & bug houses to top the Peace Poles in #ParkHillPark . I’m adding graphics on each to explain which group made each Peace Pole.
I’m hoping that by attaching the info graphic & @GoodGym firming screwing them on the poles people won’t steal the boxes.

Despite the rain, the FTiCroydon group were out in force in Park Hill this afternoon for their annual bank holiday Interfaith Picnic. Good to see Jason Perry - Executive Mayor of Croydon and the Civic Mayor of Croydon LFB Croydon as well as members of the faith community and Southwark Diocese present

So pleased to join everyone at FTiCroydon at their Picnic in the Park. Despite the weather it was a real show of communities working in harmony. Another example of Croydon's diversity at its very best.

Yesterday we held a most joyous service at All Saints Upper Norwood with Admission of Children to Holy Communion. Children & young people were fully engaged & involved in all aspects of the service, thanks to the growing faith work of church & All Saints' Primary Croydon school leaders.

Prisoners at Mauthausen were used as slave labour, many worked in the quarry or created munitions.

More than 190,000 people were imprisoned at Mauthausen and at least 90,000 people were murdered there. #OTD
