Germany has a lot of solar. It still uses less space for solar than for golf courses, and about the same as for football fields or growing Christmas trees. Wind power uses even less space. Spatial constraints on renewables are overhyped, even in densely populated Germany.

It is profoundly ironic that clean energy tech is held back by red tape, interest groups, and inertia in democratic countries while it develops freely under the oppressive, meddling CCP. To the extent that China has been able to achieve world domination in a few years.

To be precise, #Russia 's negotiations with #China on #PoS2 have stalled - China was never proactive in bringing this project forward. It has a well diversified pipeline & #LNG supply portfolio & doesn't need PoS2 as its gas demand might peak by the time it actually goes online.
