Silver cigarette case & 30th May 1916 letter of thanks from JL Donaldson to Sir Matthew Nathan. Nathan had a number of gifts sent to those who were with him in Dublin Castle during the 1916 Rising. Donaldson refers to the Rebellion as “the trying times through which we passed”.

Correspondence to the wife of James Mallon concerning rent on his premises. James was a member of the Irish Volunteers, a 1916 Rising veteran and interned in Ballykindler Camp at this time. He traded in years afterwards as “the barber of Frongoch”.

Lt. L.C. Boyd OBE medals for service in both World Wars. Boyd seen action in his native city of Dublin during the 1916 Easter Rising, was wounded on the 21/3/18 while serving with the Royal Munster Fusiliers, was MID in both wars and received the OBE. A remarkable medal group.

Rare June 1916 dated visitor pass to Frongoch prison camp in Wales. This was issued to the wife of an Irish Volunteer who was imprisoned there after the 1916 Rising. She was allowed 15 minutes of visiting time.
