If open source is 'bad for national security' why does Linux run all the nuclear subs in the US, every super computer in the US for national defense and everything else, all the Gov clouds in the major clouds that the government runs on, the military laptops of service personel…

Look… who are we to say their anti-capitalist ideology is wrong? Maybe they are right and we are the ones who are mistaken.

Tell you what, to settle the matter, let’s divide Germany in half and let them rule one half for say, 40 years? And then we can check back and see if…

In today's world the people who are the loudest and most aggressive in their opinions are often the most ignorant and least informed. You can safely disregard almost anyone who needs a mob to make their point.

'China is 2-3 years behind.'

Meanwhile in China.

Watch this video for five mins and see if you still believe that.

Let builders build and open source of what it does best, accelerate massive innovation across the world.

As I said earlier I am on the record as being 50/50 that GPT-5 will only be an incremental improvement versus a massive upgrade. This moves me to about 70/30.

And now that we are inching closer to a plateau, where the models are good and useful, but not approaching anything like…

My friend Bart doesn't understand that this is why we *need* regulatory capture. I mean how are big models supposed to maintain obscene margins, become central choke points of the economy and tools for centralized censorship if they have to compete fairly against open source?
