Good morning, officers are currently dealing with an RTC on M65 Junction 3 Westbound. Traffic has been stopped to help deal with the RTC and traffic is already backing up. If possible please find alternative routes this morning.

Further to our earlier post regarding the road closure on Croft Street, Darwen we can now update you that the road has reopened.. Thankyou for your patience

*Motorway Reopened*

We advised earlier of a closure on the M65 from Junction 11 on the westbound carriageway and Junction 8 on the eastbound carriageway.

We can now confirm that the motorway is fully open

**Motorway reopened**

Further to our earlier post regarding the closure on the M65, we can now update you that the motorway has reopened.

We want to make you aware of an RTC thats happened on Blackburn Road Darwen which is currently causing traffic delays into Blackburn Town Center. Thankfully, no one has been injured, but until we can move the vehicles we ask people avoid the area and make alternative arrangements

Officers are on scene dealing with a road traffic collision on York Road near the junction of Rishton Road and Parsonage Reservoir. The road has been closed at the location. Please plan your route to avoid the area. We will keep you updated.

We’re appealing for witnesses and footage after we were called to Witton Industrial Park to reports of a fire at 7:45pm on April 6.

We are carrying out a joint investigation with the fire service.

We are currently on scene assisting Lancashire Fire and rescue service with a fire on Preston Old Road, Blackburn. This is closed from the junction of Buncer Lane to the junction of St Francis Road, with no access onto it from any of the side streets.
