Museum of the Moving Image presents two films by Hayao Miyazaki: Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind (1984) and The Boy and the Heron (2023). Nausicaä will screen twice: on Sat 01/20 at 12:30pm, and again on Sun 01/21 at 12:30pm. The Boy and the Heron will screen on Sat 01/20 at 3pm.

...I received my master's from CalArts and have worked as a 3D animator for 25+ years at over 40 studios for many different formats. I’ve had a film shown at MoMA, won an Emmy, won at Annecy, a few awards at our festival, & made a few personal films.
