Today I attended the first Judiciary Uganda National Court Open Day under the theme: A People-Centered Approach to Justice. It was an insightful day, interacting with many different stakeholders in the Justice Sector and discussing success stories and challenges alike.

While the right to water is universally recognized as a human right, more research and jurisprudence is needed to further clarify and shape the content of this right. In case you want to know what the right to water entails, read my opinion in the Daily Monitor today.

As part of her visit to Uganda, the AustrianDev Program Manager Irene Novotny together with Dr. Katja Yvonne Kerschbaumer met with the hand pump mechanics & visited the #WASH project of SNV Uganda aimed at increasing access to clean water, sanitation & hygiene in Apany Acel Village, Lira.
