Enhancing Flavins Photochemical Activity in Hydrogen Atom Abstraction and Triplet Sensitization through Ring-Contraction (Golo Storch and co-workers) Alexander Pöthig @TUMcatalysis #openaccess onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/an…
Had a great pleasure to deliver a lecture at TU München. Thank you Alexander Pöthig for inviting me!
Was a pleasure hosting Wojtek Stawski today at Catalysis Research Center & FischerGroup as quasi-satellite talk of a fantastic SupraChem2024 at Ulm University (thanks again to the organizers!). Lots of fantastic chemistry and crazy molecules. Looking forward to more to come in the future! ☺️
Happy about the recent outlook on metals in cancer research with MedBioinorgChem You always learn a lot outside of your topical comfort zone…😊
Our 2024 Outlook on Metals in Cancer Research: Beyond Platinum Metallodrugs | is now online at ACS Central Science Alexander Pöthig always a pleasure to discuss science with you ;-) pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac…

Want to join me in a synthetic quest to make and explore new, exciting (and aromatic!) molecules? 🧪Currently looking for a motivated post-doc into a fully-funded position (Narodowe Centrum Nauki SONATA grant), to merge the worlds of dendrimers and macrocycles!🛞
And here the last 3 origami figures for this year in our calendar. A boar, a deer, and a ferrocene…:) Merry Christmas to everyone! #origami #science #art Catalysis Research Center TU München
December 20th, and Wilfried the flying pig dreams of sneaking into Santa Claus‘ reindeer squad…. And we learn a bit about the catalytic decay of ammonia, e.g. from animal waste, which is nowadays used to get hydrogen gas… :) #origami #art #science Catalysis Research Center TU München
… Melvin‘s friends were famous, but he somehow ended up being an explosive detection dog…🤷♂️ … of course only necessary since some chemists developed a catalytic process to produce ammonia… 😉 #Haber #Bosch #art #origami Catalysis Research Center TU München
… Poupette has been a really, really naughty cat! She had the choice of a famous „life“ being the pet of Erwin Schrödinger but instead she devoted herself to catalysis…🤷♂️… Good choice I would say!… #art #origami #deadoralive Catalysis Research Center TU München
… on Sunday, like everyday, Hubert the Rooster was the perfect catalyst - waking up people and accelerating daily life… look how proud he presents himself… #origami #art Catalysis Research Center TU München
Catch-up from the weekend: Saturday‘s surprise was Wally the Racoon. Watching for his weight before Christmas, but in need of some chocolate to calm his nerves… #origami #art Catalysis Research Center TU München
Say hi to little dragon Sigismund, today‘s treat from our origami calendar. He actually doesn’t like Christmas, but should’ve learned bit more about Fischer-Tropsch…:) #art #origami #science TU München Catalysis Research Center
December 14… it’s Ottokar the little Wolf, howling to „Last Christmas“ …:) #art #origami #science TU München Catalysis Research Center
A bit late… yesterdays Alfredo the polar bear in our Christmas origami calendar… and some facts about ethylene oxidation… #art #origami #science TU München Catalysis Research Center
It’s December 12… and out of our Origami calendar box comes Florence the Frog…and a little story on polyolefins… #art #science #advent #origami Catalysis Research Center TU München
