So we’re doing something about it whilst protecting the most vulnerable among us.

New border checks will begin on 30 April for animal products, plants and plant products entering GB.

They'll protect the UK from potentially harmful pests and diseases and we are supporting traders by introducing checks in a pragmatic way.
