While mourning the women killed in Bondi, I do want to commemorate the one unnamed and no doubt very brave man, a security guard, who was killed alongside them. My heart goes out to his family and friends.

We all know a man who is a ticking time bomb. I’ve been trying to protect myself from one for 6 years. Victoria Police have done stuff all, despite him having a rap sheet comparable to terrorist Brenton Tarrant, told me to call them when he comes for me ..

Daughter who works at a Westfield shopping centre in Melbourne said she & all her female colleagues are distressed today & worried about copycat attacks. Women shouldn’t have to think about panic rooms & escape plans.
Men need to do more to stop male violence against women.

We can’t tell.
So women will continue to be wary of all men. We require female only spaces, sex specific incident responses and sex based safeguarding from our legislators to reflect that.

When men kill women there's always an excuse. It's terrorism. Or mental health. Or she provoked him.

Joel Cauchi is just the latest in a long line of Australian men who hate women and use the most extreme form of violence against us and our children

The Bondi attacker didn’t ask his victims their pronouns before attacking them.
He attacked them on the basis of their SEX not their ‘gender identity.’
Women need sex based protections to keep them safe from violent men.
Legislation needs to reflect that obvious need.
