#BREAKING : I just signed legislation legalizing adult-use cannabis.

The bill creates automatic expungement of previous marijuana convictions that would now be legal.

This is a historic day.

I thank the Leader and Speaker and the tireless advocacy of so many.

We have reached an agreement to legalize adult-use cannabis.

Too many New Yorkers have been unfairly penalized for the use & sale of cannabis, arbitrarily arrested & jailed. That time is coming to an end.

I look forward to signing this legislation into law.

I have refrained from directly addressing the current situation the Governor is going through, but I have to speak on this. This is a normal handshake. He has big hands, which are naturally & unintentional covering the small hand. How is this abusive?

After all that we went through with this pandemic, it was super emotional watching Gov.Cuomo finally get his vaccine. I am so grateful for all he did for us, we couldn't have gotten here without him 🙏
