A reminder: literal Nazis are marching on our communities & perpetuating a cycle of violence.

Campus antisemitism is real and must be addressed. But if you’re not also condemning these neo-Nazis—and broader rising anti-democratic extremism—you’re not interested in Jewish safety.

I’m not going to share the video but in case you’re wondering, “Zionists don’t deserve to live” is deeply antisemitic and should be universally condemned by anyone whose stated goals are peace and justice.

The young people at Columbia are getting a powerful education in how outside actors here and abroad can exploit their protests for their own malevolent ends.

Free speech is intended to work in both directions: protest and press. You don’t get to claim you’re using your right to protest and then literally smack down the media’s right to cover it.

We should be very clear: white Christian nationalists like Feucht use Israel to advance their extremist, antisemitic, and bigoted worldview. And it’s deeply dangerous for Jews, Israel’s long-term safety, and anyone who believes in inclusive democracy.

How are far-right extremists simultaneously exploiting concerns about campus antisemitism while promoting antisemitism? Like this. She argues to “shut down as much of the universities as we can” and promotes Great Replacement — which has fueled mass murder of Jews & others.

It honestly feels at the moment like trans rights are optional in the human rights framework. It feels like we’re considered an “extra credit” assignment.

For several years, we’ve been relentlessly and viciously attacked by a political party that quite literally wants to…

Over and over, pols who have normalized antisemitic conspiracy theories like the Great Replacement exploit this moment to score political points. Johnson, Stefanik…

If they cared about Jewish safety on campus they’d increase OCR funds & reject these bigoted conspiracy theories

I’m really sick of media & viral social media posts painting the Jewish community in a false binary: pro-Israel or pro-Palestinian.

The vast majority of American Jews support Israel (but not necessarily its government) AND believe in Palestinian humanity & self-determination.

Denying that actual antisemitism exists on campus, Jewish & Israeli students feel unsafe, & some admins have failed = the problem.

Exploiting these concerns to advance a far-right agenda aimed at undermining liberal institutions, DEI, and/or all right to protest = the problem.
