Compassion isn't a cause of burnout. It's a source of energy. Data: Being kind to others can reduce cynicism. Being kind to yourself can lessen exhaustion. Kindness restores belonging, control, & confidence. The times when you need a hand are often the best times to extend one.

After several months dealing with vertigo, I took a very short ride. I felt so good. Sometimes life derails us, adapting is hard. I’m grateful for little steps back to normalcy. For anyone working through a life “derailment”, I see you and am cheering you on!

I met with a Ukrainian family today. It was humbling. 1 year ago they never imagined the challenges they have been forced to work through. Daily, I hope we all extend love & kindness . If your lives are good, realize you are fortunate and give some of that fortune to others.
