Scrolled past this last night, got me thinking a lot. Especially in context of company building. There's an essay to be written about the diff btwn blind/prideful ambition, focused ambition, and how to balance drive to do special things w/ day-to-day reasonability/contentedness

Common attributes of all founding teams I've come to love working with:

1. At least mildly disagreeable.
2. Unequivocally *not* seeking validation and/or self-actualization via funding partners.
3. Domain expertise (concept of white-boarding co ideas seems ludicrous to them)

One interesting thing about AI products achieving scale ~10x quicker than SaaS is that it collapses every aspect of tech/capital cycles by the same measure

As a result, below observations are just as relevant to seed investors as they are to public investors

A simple statement I now think is true: it's easier and more affordable for newcos to reach feature parity with horizontal SaaS incumbents than ever before
