Teaching is becoming more demanding and less fulfilling. Status has collapsed. Since 2010 there have been real-terms salary cuts of 13%, while the education budget has only increased 3%. Health spending has risen 42%.

As Bob&Roberta Smith reported, only twenty seven children in Tower Hamlets are taking Art A level this year.
Tower Hamlets has 37,800 pupils in their primary & secondary schools. I don't know how many of those pupils will be doing A levels this year but I do know 27 is pitiful.
