Belgium reaffirmed its commitment to providing the assistance Ukraine needs to prevail and rebuild.

Boeiende kennismaking met de nieuwe Dick Schoof België en Nederland staan samen sterker in de EU. We staan ook schouder aan schouder in onze steun aan Oekraïne. We overlegden over de gezamenlijke strijd tegen drugscriminaliteit en hoe onze havens intensief samenwerken.

Prime minister Denys Shmyhal and I just signed a cooperation agreement between Belgium and Ukraine. This will allow Enabel our agency for international cooperation, to start Ukraine's energy network winterization, reconstruction of hospitals and schools and much more.

If we want a stronger Europe we need to cooperate more broadly and deeply.  On trade, migration, security and mobility there is plenty of room for improvement. Thank you Keir Starmer for convening the #EPC A show of unity at a time when war is raging across the continent.
