Had a few hours left in the day to design a "terrestrial" Muon tracker with space rated solar cells from Ebay. Uses a Polycase enclosure with a clear top. I guess it could do WSPR or CW or something else. Now needs a 2 meter magnetic loop etched on a middle PCB? #radar #WSPR

Got new PCBs & already changing things. Will remove the 2 ebay Tecstar solar cells to make room for GPS & Iridium antennas. Solar will be handled by external Voltaic Systems solar panel. Way more energy storage + output power. Might even support my FPGA chirp sounder #radar

New pictures next to the proposed solar panels. I guess I need a chirped WSPR 4FSK mode with 1PPS drive and do ionosphere sounding while I am at it. The increased power adds a lot of posibilities, but will require a step down charger. #autonomous #radar

The 435 MHz QFHA is probably the easiest to design. It is easy to print, not very big ,and the stray inductances and capacitances in the discrete component 90º hybrid are manageable. Ordering the boards today. #amsat #satellite #cubesat #radar #drone #autonomous

On the WSPR beacon front, the brackets came in and look good. Need to design a bracket for the Voltaic Systems 3.5W panel that will bolt to the bottom with varying solar angles. Also received 3x activated Iridium modems for development from a good friend. #WSPR #autonomous

Finally had a chance to finish the #LPWAN version of the #MUON tracker. It uses an SX1262, u-blox EVA-M8Q, Microchip Makes ATSAMD21G M0+, 3.3V SW supply, 22dBm 850-930 MHz, TCXO, Arduino compatible and size of a quarter #TTN #LoRa #CHIRPED
