It's hard to believe any vet would sponsor greyhound racing. 18 dogs died racing in Apr 24, one of the deadliest months on record. Some deaths occurred at tracks sponsored by these vets. It's also likely that some of these vets offer the inhumane breeding technique surgical AI.

Sal Perna has been appointed as the SA Greyhound Industry Reform Inspector. He is committed to integrity which is mainly concerned with industry prosperity. CPG is calling for him to bring the same level of rigour to greyhound welfare as he does to the industry's 'success'.

For over a month, conservationists had warned a Victorian government plan to fell old-growth hollow-bearing trees in Yarra Ranges National Park would kill endangered wildlife.
