What an embarrassing state of affairs in Parliament tonight. Yesterday we sent out a press release stating that children had begun dying of starvation in Northern Gaza and tonight we see MPs jeering and leering at each other, politicking over the lives of 1.5m people. Depressing.

Not only it’s not a good day for the U.K. parliament, it’s a bad day for Britian and humanity.

Scenes in Parliament tonight an utter an embarrassment. As thousands upon thousands of Palestians are being killed, our leaders turn Parliament in to a pantomime of party politicking and point scoring. Shameful! #CeasefieNow

A sordid affair tonight. I wanted to vote for an immediate ceasefire to halt the suffering in Gaza sending a clear message from Westminster. But political shenanigans stopped that. An embarrassment of a day that surely sullies the reputation of Parliament on a global stage.

As politicians and public figures preen on international women’s day, remember these images and ask why they are still, to date, saying nothing about this disgusting sexualisation of the battered and bruised women of Gaza.

When I was 18 I was juggling being a new mum & studying at uni. When my daughter was 18 she was working full-time to save up for uni as the cost had *tripled* since I was there. This policy is based on some nonsense caricature of 18 year olds.

Two years ago today was our #NoBirthsBehindBars breastfeeding protest outside the MoJ, where we delivered a public petition with a cover letter half-eaten by a baby! Now we have new sentencing policy, new case law & a culture shift. Change is possible & more is coming 💚💛
