Feeling the heat in Kuala Lumpur! Greetings everyone. I hope you are all well. Alhamdullilah 15km 6am run done in KLCC park. It sure is hot in Malaysia. I definitely felt that run!

How can we not feel a physical pain in our hearts after seeing grotesque images & footage of innocent & defenceless Palestinian babies, children & civilians in Rafah being brutally killed by the Israeli military?

Every adult I know personally had difficulty sleeping last night after the living nightmare of #RafahOnFıre Haunted by headless scorched children and babies. Or in my case, haunted by the deep sickness in the western media and political class which left them cold as #Gaza

What is left to say? To my dear Palestinian brothers & sisters, I'm just so sorry the world is this way. We have failed you, utterly.

Outraged by the Israeli strikes that have killed many displaced persons in Rafah.

These operations must stop. There are no safe areas in Rafah for Palestinian civilians.

I call for full respect for international law and an immediate ceasefire.

Palestinian children should wake up feeling excited to go to school and play with their friends.

Instead, for those murdered in Rafah, their last moments on this earth were filled with unimaginable fear as bombs rained down on their tents.

What a monstrous failure of humanity.

Professor Ahmed Hankir I‘m in the ENT field, but I do treat patients with additional mental issues of course. I find it much easier to talk to them, to find a bond, though they don‘t know about my condition. Fewer words are needed when both know what‘s going on. Definitely one good side of bipolar.
