Outstanding talk by Anne Brunet Brunet Lab today at the Gladstone Institutes. Such crystal clear and creative scientific thinking about fundamental aging mechanisms. (I am now thinking to get an aquarium with some African turquoise killifish)

I'm speechless. Not peer-reviewed yet but a submitted paper. The 'presented images' were shown to a group of humans. The 'reconstructed images' were the result of an fMRI output to Stable Diffusion. In other words, #stablediffusion literally read people's minds. Source 👇

I am looking to submit a Diversity Supplement to The National Institute on Aging (NIA) to hire a coordinator to work on cognitive neuroscience, neuroimaging of aging, and emotions. Please spread the word, and if interested, reach out. I will be in person at #CNS2023 and at #AffectScience2023

"Interfering with DMN activity through direct cortical stimulation...caused a decrease in #creativity, specifically reducing the originality of the alternate uses, without affecting creative fluency or mind wandering". Welcome to the future Ben Shofty &team bit.ly/DMNBS
