Im not sure how yesterday's sanctions are the 'first step' toward accountability when the Administration has imposed sanctions 5 times since the start of the war in #Sudan to absolutely no effect. They are yet another ineffective step targeting the wrong people, but whatevs.

That's how you whitewash a fraudulent election. Now we can restart our security assistance and go back to business as usual. Yet another scandalous and embarrassing abdication of anything approaching our values in Africa.
