I'm a Jew, a faculty member at northeastern, and I visited the Gaza solidarity camp each day. Many student protesters there were also Jews. Northeastern admin is justifying arresting their own students by claiming they were chanting 'kill the Jews,' which is a blatant lie.

This thread is a prime example of the misleading ways that antisemitism is often reported. I can tell you as EIC of Jewish Currents that often we look into a high-profile antisemitic occurrence and it falls apart under scrutiny. Most of the time, no one corrects the record.

There are countless videos of pro-Israel protesters doing exactly what media and lawmakers accuse pro-Palestinian protesters of doing, but you won’t hear a peep about this in the news. It’s such a joke.
