Day4 #MimuCourse2022 we isolated & transformed the plasmids into Agrobacteria, checked results of transient expression assay on confocal microscope. But the highlight is def UConn Dairy Bar ice cream and a great PhD defense from Dr. Vandana Gurung! #nsffunded #mimuluspropaganda
New paper from Yaowu Yuan (袁耀武) lab led the incredible Mei Liang revealed how color change in #mimulus species caused by a SNP that made an additional ATG upstream of ORF - pigments got lost in translation, LITERALLY! #MimulusPropaganda on the cover of Science Advances! Amazing job Mei!
