We found that women are 1.2 times more likely than men to be on zero-hour contracts. (5/9)

Black workers are 2.7 times more likely than white workers to be on zero-hour contracts; and those from multiple/mixed backgrounds are 2.3 times more likely than white workers to be on zero-hour contracts. (4/9)

Analysis shows that young workers (16–24) are 5 times more likely to be on zero-hours contracts – and this doesn’t just affect students. Young workers who are not students are still 3.5 times more likely to be on zero-hour contracts. (3/9)
