Thanks to the support of EU Delegation to Zimbabwe 🇪🇺 we purchased 2 ten-tonne trucks for pig producer syndicates we set up. To date over 1500 tonnes have been procured and transported by the Mash West Syndicate.

There is power in collective action. The project assisted Mash East pork syndicate to have a revolving localised delivery of 434 bags of pig growers’ straight feeds, priced at USD22, negotiated from a price of USD25 per bag. 14 farmers pioneered the initiative

Through EU Delegation to Zimbabwe 🇪🇺 we provided 2 exotic bucks (KR & Boer) to each Goat Association to spearhead breed improvement at local level. Last week, the Beitbridge DDC’s office visited the GIC & saw the latest group of 93 kids. To date, 3212 kids have been dropped in the 12 districts.

The East Pork Producers Cooperatives (EPPC) an entity est'd by @zagpgoatsandpigs, commenced collective marketing. In 1& 1/2 months of trading, 5499kgs of porkers sold by 6 farmers generated $17068. The infant initiative promises to present better market options for farmers.
