⚠️ Incident Alert: There has been a serious collision on Royal Artillery Way, in Southend.

An Air Ambulance has landed at the scene.

A flood alert has been issued to warn of minor flooding possible to coastal roads & footpaths around the seafront, Southchurch Park, Thorpe Hall Golf Club and Shoebury Common.

There is very slow moving traffic on Southend seafront this evening due to a car enthusiasts meet.

Hundreds of owners of modified high performance cars are on the seafront, near to the Westcliff casino.

It’s a sunny day on Southend seafront & hundreds of motorcyclists are arriving, despite no official Shakedown event being organised.

Southend Council have placed barriers along the central seafront area to prevent parking.

Parking is available instead at the Gasworks carpark.

Thieves helped themselves to cigarettes at a Co-op in Leigh-on-Sea whilst shoppers watched in shock.
