this guy is a perfect example of the bipartisan regulatory *and* discursive capture by the ag sector in the USA. here's a democratic senator supporting a bill banning environmentally-friendly innovation and research that leads to ... some really tasty sushi.

Factory farming has put more American farmers and ranchers out of work than any other innovation. It's also produced slop that I would never serve to my kid.

Looking forward to the joint Fetterman-DeSantis proposal to ban factory farmed meat!
