To all our volunteers: now, then and to come - Thank You. The hours, days and years of volunteer dedication put into the Railway is forever appreciated, you truly make the Talyllyn live up to the name of "The Railway With A Heart of Gold!" #InternationalVolunteerDay

Conye Cannon - Extraordinary E2 You have misread that section entirely. It says that 1431 was gifted to the TR. While ableson never found a buyer for 1432, so was scrapped. What you have said is entirely made up!

Nictrain123 Just to remind people gently that Wilbert most likely had absolutely no idea these drawings or the proposal existed - I very much think he would have gone with it for James in canon if he did know though!

Nictrain123 This is not the case at all - what is written in the Ulfstead commentary is that the MSR could not decide on a livery so decided to paint engines a multitude of colours "just like another railway would years later" That does not translate to TFD being inspired by the MSR.

Chao the J70s were fitted with air brakes, and kept them till withdrawal (tho they had the hose removed post-1927). Toby would probably have Vac fitted when he gets transferred to the NWR

Always makes me chuckle a little when people realise the misconceptions laid out in the TV show haha For example, Rusty has a whistle too!
