Today is the first day of #BlackHistoryMonth ! This February, join BCS as we honor the incredible legacy of Black influence and culture in Brooklyn. In addition to reflecting on the past, this month is about listening to the Black voices currently shaping our community.

BCS staff member, Patricia Thompson, was recognized by the New York Jets with the NFL Inspire Change Changemaker Award for her work as an educator at BCS' PS 306 after school program. At their Christmas Eve game, the Jets surprised her with a trip to this year’s Super Bowl!
