😅 For a couple months, kid Pokémon fans were running 'The Secret Pokémon Trading Service' from a small trapdoor in the WFPL Children's Room.

Much as we LOVE the ingenuity here, we had to resecure the tiny utility access point, to keep our Children's room safe.

Thank you to our Project Literacy English students for stepping up to the mic to share stories of when they felt they 'belonged' or 'didn't belong' in a community.

The bookmarks in the top left are from 1971 and 72. We've expanded our open hours since those days! The bookmark at the bottom shows an early proposal for a library expansion which was eventually completed in 1956.
