Anyone spotted swifts yet on Warren Farm WarrenFarmNatureReserve ? This is the week I usually expect to see the first ones. Each year I hold my breath. Will they make it on that long flight? Will I hear those joyful screams which are so much the sound of summer?

Our #WarrenFarmNR Spring Walk led by naturalist Neil Anderson had the most joyous & happiest of vibes!☺️🎶🐦‍⬛🪺Skylarks, Peregrine Falcon, Wheatears, Willow Warbler, Bee-flys, Oak Apple Galls, Bluebells… a Local Nature Reserve in waiting thanks to YOU!💚🥰 #EarthDay2024 🌿🌸🐝

National Trust Beautiful WarrenFarmNatureReserve which allows west Londoners to escape to the country, listen to #skylarks and enjoy a huge range of wildflowers. Very special on #EarthDay2024 and every other day of the year 💚

One of my favourite barge names! No doubt a species once prevalent in Middlesex when large fields and marshland existed near the Canal two hundred years ago.

Long Wood looking its best yesterday on our WarrenFarmNatureReserve walk yesterday. Who would think this green oasis is so close to the M4? Brent River Park

Fantastic walk with Neil Anderson yesterday... so many skylarks, plenty of linnets, a wheatear. Learned how to ID bulbous buttercups from turned-back sepals, saw oak apples and basking ladybirds, then on into Long Wood... drifts of bluebells and a Cetti's warbler singing.

The most incredible morning with Neil, sharing his knowledge of flora and fauna at WarrenFarmNatureReserve. My first visit to the ancient Long Wood, and its carpet of bluebells Brent River Park. And, got to hang out with Katie, the force of nature behind the campaign to #SaveOurSkylarks .
