UNICEF, in partnership with the IRC, has revised the Caring for Child Survivors of Sexual Abuse Guidelines and Training.

The UK and Australia signed a Memorandum of Understanding that commits to drive evidence-based prevention of gender-based violence, and a separate agreement to strengthen our co-ordination during humanitarian crises.

Older women and women with disabilities face particular risks of violence, yet too little is known about how frequently this occurs, how they are affected and what services they need.

Better data is needed so that their experiences are counted and services can meet their needs…

What Works to Prevent Violence - Impact at Scale is a seven-year initiative funded by the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) to improve prevention and response to violence against women and girls.

We combat violence hindering girls' school enrollment by establishing empowerment clubs in schools. These clubs offer a safe places for girls to learn about their rights, self-defense, and strategies to combat #EarlyMarriage and #GBV empowering them to stay in school and thrive.

Schools play a crucial role in shaping children's views on gender relations through curriculum, peer norms, and policies.

We must invest in school-based interventions to prevent all forms of violence in our institutions of learning.
