On Wednesday, I presented on MBD for the Philly area NKF NKFPANJ.
I ended the program with this slide. Dr Kelepouris Ellie Kelepouris MD also gave a testimonial about Dr. Slatopolsky and his contributions to MBD. Sadly, yesterday we learned of his passing. He was a gracious giant.

One of the greats. I was honored to give the Slatopolsky Lecture a couple of years ago and got to meet and chat with Dr. Slatopolsky. While we mourn the loss we celebrate a great life!

8 years ago, he had made me felt so welcome after moving to a new city and still so new to the US. Little that I know at that time how much he has contributed to the field of kidney medicine. Thank you for your inspiration WU in STL Nephrology Ben Humphreys
