Been asked about #omicron being less severe. We simply don’t know yet. But substantially ⬆️ transmission can cancel out ⬇️ severity. 1 million infected x 1% death rate is 10,000 dead. 5 million infected x 0.5% death rate is 25,000 dead. Less severe can still = big impact.

IAP's National Conference will be held from 16th January to 20th January in Greater Noida. It will be a big academic, social and cultural meeting of all pediatricians across the country.
