The men, incl Afghans, had been living in Margate but were told they would be moved.

Lots of talk about immigration putting pressure on housing this week. It's not straightforward. Evidence shows that rather than consuming MORE housing, migrants often live in overcrowded homes with poor conditions. Labour shortages since Brexit have also impacted housebuilding.

Claims from Labour at the moment that unfunded spending commitments from the Gov mean the state pension age may have to rise for over 60s.
