Introducing Ladybird Book Artists…John Berry won a scholarship to Royal College of Art, but instead volunteered for the RAF in WW2. He worked with Ladybird from the late 1950s to the 1980s and is best known for illustrating 'People at Work' and 'Hannibal the Hamster' series.

On #InternationalWomensDay we're celebrating the pioneering illustrator Angusine Macgregor (1879-1961), the first ever Ladybird book artist.  Some of her work is currently on display at our #LadybirdBookArtists exhibition
