Mrs Murray and I had a lovely time visiting Vicki Collin at Springfield Primary School, Bedford this morning. We were able to meet some of the students coming up to KA Kempston next year and observe one of their wonderful reading sessions :) Thank you so much for having us!

Year 1 and Year 2 kicked things off this morning with an inspiring assembly from Key Stage 1 Leader Mr Pauly 🤩 The children returned to class smiling and had lots of fun with their new teachers 🐝

Mr Cooper led Key Stage 2 through a super assembly outlining his high expectations for the year ahead this morning! A strong message about teamwork and being proud to wear the Springfield badge 🤩🐝 (We’re not sure about the Manchester United one thought, Sir…)

On Monday, our wonderful EYFS children enjoyed a super day out to Herrings Green Farm! They got to explore around the farm and say hello to lots of friendly animals 🐍 🦉 🐐 🐇 🚜 Thank you to the amazing Miss Morriss and her team for organising such a fantastic day 🐝

What a great day! Today we took 59 year 2 children to Woburn Safari Park and they had the best time! We got to see some amazing animals and it was great to see so many smiling faces! It has been an absolute delight to teach these children this year! Springfield Primary School, Bedford

Fantastic day out Gulliver's Theme Park Resorts for our year 6 end of year trip. Children were brilliant and represented themselves and Springfield Primary School, Bedford incredibly well🐝❤️ Staff also managed to find time to sample the thrills🎠🎟️ The question is…who enjoyed it more? Vicki Collin or Year 6?🎢
