🚗 Upcoming Road Closure: Southeast Park Crest Avenue will be closed from Southeast McGillivray Boulevard to Southeast Graham Road on May 1 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This street closure allows city crews to repair a storm line. Detour signs will be in place.

Great work by our Domestic Violence Unit! Officers arrested a suspect for felony violation of a no contact order and seized the suspect's vehicle for a search warrant. DV detectives served the warrant and located both of these firearms inside the vehicle.

East Vancouver officers arrest suspect for taking motor vehicle without permission. 🚔️ Upon arrival, officers noticed the driver was slumped in the front seat. They pinned the car & conducted a high-risk stop. Driver taken into custody without incident. 💪💪

Last week, Officer Musser responded to a call where a school bus was rear ended by another vehicle. Thankfully everyone was okay, and Officer Musser was happy to stop by their school to deliver some stuffed animals and hugs! 💙

VPD is continuing to partner with @targetzero_6 for distracted driving patrols. During a recent distracted driving patrol, officers cited 21 drivers, gave 44 warnings & made 4 arrests. Put the phone down and focus on the road! 🚘️

On March 26, Cristina Ase, a 61-year-old Vancouver woman, was reported missing to VPD by her husband. Investigators are asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of Chrisina Ase to contact Crime Stoppers of Oregon.

Eastside graveyard officers located this occupied stolen van at a gas station. A UAS operator assisted in identifying that the vehicle was occupied & the occupant was eventually woken up & taken into custody without further incident after medical evaluation. 🚔️
