Why use a rain barrel? It captures rain water from the roof for use on lawns and gardens and reduces the amount of runoff that flows from your property.
There are still openings for our June 8th workshop! Go to: vbmg.org to register.

This Cosmos is from last summer. Love those delicate blooms. It’s a soggy morning here—hope it’s sunny where you are, friends!

Garden Tip of the Day: You can cut peonies and store them for several weeks/months. Cut fresh peony buds while they're soft (like a marshmallow), wrap them in newspaper or plastic wrap, and store them in the refrigerator until you're ready to use them.
