This Saturday, due to the annual Vaisakhi parade hosted by the Sikh community in Leeds City Centre at our usual time, Leeds PSC will not be organising a demo in Leeds. Instead, we will join the West Yorkshire regional march for Palestine in Bradford.

Last night it was being reported 600,000 people in Yorkshire won't be able to vote at next month's elections as they aren't registered.

Today is the last chance to make sure you can!

The other thing that has been holding the sector together is the dedication of staff. Despite facing a 30% cut in salaries against inflation.

Wages have been the ‘soft target’ masking difficulties in the sector, but why should staff foot the bill?
