The University School Cross Country Team competed in the Spartan Invitational at Boardman High School in Youngstown today. Coming in first for the team with a time of 18:21 was Evon Gocan '23.

The University School JV team competed at the Gilmour Paul Primeau Invitational Friday. Coming in first for the team with a time of 18:53 was freshman Alec Congdon.

University School’s varsity cross country team competed at the Midwest Meet of Champions in Columbus today. Coming in 1st for the team and 4th overall with a time of 16:32 was senior Nate Miller. Nearly every member of the team ran a personal best. Way to go!

The University School Cross Country Team came in 10th out of 33 teams at the Legends Meet at the Trumbull County Fairgrounds today. Leading the way was senior Nate Miller, who came in 29th out of 260 runners in the varsity race.

This morning University School’s JV Team fought wind and rain to come in 1st at the George Clements JV Meet. Coming in first for the team with a time of 19:07 was sophomore Chase Greppin.

The University School Cross Country Team came in 8th out of 22 teams today at the Division I District Meet at Madison High School, qualifying for the Division I Regional Meet next week at Boardman. Way to go guys!

A bevy of runners. Makoto Gumpf of Ridgerunner82 crosses first to take 12th (16:44.25). Troy Federici of North Cross Country is third to take 14th (16:49.90). Quinn MacPhail of University School Cross Country is the fourth to take 15th (16:49.95 PR) and Sean Tobin is the fifth for 16th (16:50.40 PR) #NHXC

It’s a strong young team for University School Cross Country this year as they are led by Quinn MacPhail and he knows that they have been able to turn their preseason work into in season results with consistent new PRs #NHXC

The Preppers were 11th with a strong showing of new PRs. University School Cross Country was led by Quinn MacPhail in 39th with a 16:30.91. Jack O’Neill also had a strong showing as he posted a 16:52.26 as the number two runner on the day #NHXC
