Originally, UNDERTALE was slated as a release for the 'SCORPION 8' games system, however this idea was scrapped for seemingly unknown reasons, and is believed to be what led to the downfall of the beloved 'SCORPION 8' games system.

We've tried asking Toby Fox about this, but every time we do, he makes some kind of inhuman grunt and scuttles off.

Interesting:
Shortly after finishing UNDERTALE, Toby Fox began working on a short, experimental game called 'UNDERTALE 2'. It would have been entirely dialogue based and feature exactly ONE battle.
It was cancelled because Toby felt the game lacked MILK.

Interestingly, despite the Spamton Sweepstakes 'man' page having no music or audio to speak of, we have uncovered a piece of music named 'april14th' that was seemingly meant to loop in the background while visiting the page.

We have uncovered the ORIGINAL Concept Art for the ORIGINAL STARWALKER! It appears he was going to be named 'Home Starwalker,' it's unknown what this means, but it seems to me like he'd be a terrific athlete of some kind!

Another UNDERTALE Discovery we made today, a screenshot of an early UNDERTALE build! The image shows a slightly altered version of this room in Snowdin, as well as an early version of Sans' Displeased Expression.

In UNDERTALE, Alphys was originally going to be Green, with her lab being named 'Green Science.'
While Toby was very close to keeping this in-game, he opted for Yellow near release to represent his favorite cartoon family.
