We found that despite being cured of TB, TB survivors die at a rate of up to 10 times the general rural population in Uganda. Unemployment and hospitalisation are risk factors. We need social protection measures for #TB survivors.

🏥 We visited Aber Hospital in Lira as the Uganda Kidney Foundation (UKF) tea ism.
We were pleasantly surprised by the services offered here which includes acute peritoneal dialysis with a cycler.
The level of cleanliness was 💯.
