A beautiful night for the unveiling of the Vel R. Phillips sculpture outside of the Wisconsin State Capitol. Vel was a trailblazer: first African American female to graduate from University of Wisconsin Law School and to hold statewide public office in the U.S. An incredible role model and leader!
