Today is Thank a Resident Day! We could not be more grateful to our #UVAPath trainees. The practice of medicine can be incredibly hard and heavy, but doing it alongside this fine group makes it fun, too. Grateful for each of them, every day.

Our residents are gearing up for Path-entine’s Day! Our wellness committee coordinated a decorating event so residents could hang their bags outside their doors now through 2/14 to collect their Path-entine treats. Some faculty got into the spirit as well! ♥️ 💕💖

At #UVAPath our residents have myriad opportunities to engage with our community & enrich our specialty by inspiring the best & brightest to consider a future in #pathology ! Many thanks to UVA SNMA for their long-standing collaboration & leadership on many of these efforts!

Billing isn't intuitive, so we make sure our new residents understand the ins and outs BEFORE they start taking cases!

Teaching PGY1s how to fill out cancer synoptic forms and navigate Beaker so that when they start taking a few cases next week they'll be well-prepared for patient care! Robust onboarding and graduated responsibility are key to our training philosophy here at #UVAPath

Will like to thank Dr Jim Gorham and Dr Lindsay Bazydlo for organizing a great #ACLPS meeting 2023 and for the privilege to present alongside my wonderful colleagues (Drs Hui Li, Adam Goldfarb, Jim Harrison) and trainees UVA Pathology.Including a great outing at Montalto.
