It was a pleasure to meet Mayor Van Johnson and reconnect with #MakingGlobalLocal partner WTCSav today in Savannah and highlight opportunities for Georgia businesses to benefit from USTDA’s program.
Thank you Hampton Roads Alliance for the informative presentation on Dominion Energy’s Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind project. At home and abroad, wind power supports U.S. jobs, provides clean power for our homes, and brings us closer to our net-zero emissions goals.
It was an honor to meet Andrew Young, whose legacy as a civil rights leader continues to inspire. Civil rights activists in the U.S. and anti-apartheid activists in South Africa motivated and supported one another for decades. These bonds endure.
Thank you James “Jay” Bailey for taking Ambassador Reuben Brigety and Prosper Africa’s #AtlantaPhambili roadshow on a tour of Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurs. I am inspired by your spirit of partnership and collaboration, which is creating possibilities for Black entrepreneurs across Atlanta.
I had the pleasure to connect with USTDA #MakingGlobalLocal Atlanta-based partners Invest Atlanta, Georgia, USA, World Trade Center Atlanta, and UGA Small Business Development Center. We discussed how we can connect more Georgia businesses to the business opportunities that USTDA creates. 🇺🇸
Today at Spelman College I spoke with Chief Investment Officers from Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Atlanta-based institutions about how USTDA partnerships mobilize capital and institutional investment for infrastructure in sub-Saharan Africa.
